Shure's Interactive
Audio Experience

Observation

Shure is a leading manufacturer of audio technology. For a location at Frankfurt Airport, Shure was looking for an exciting user experience for its latest headphones. Specifically, Shure was looking for a way to test the headphones and at the same time give the customer the opportunity to get more information about the tested headphones in an attractive way.

Solution Design

Following Shure's request, we developed a user experience in which an acceleration sensor was built into the headphone's safety lock, which presented the details of the respective headphones on a tablet UI as soon as the customer interacted with them and simultaneously played music on the headphones. The customer had the possibility to choose freely between the headphones, where the music was transmitted simply by putting on the headphones. At the same time, all information about the respective headphones were displayed on the tablet UI in an attractive way.

Result

The interactive headphone demo provided an engaging and seamless experience for customers at Frankfurt Airport. The combination of sensor-based activation, automatic music playback, and dynamic product information on the tablet UI made testing intuitive and informative.
High customer engagement – intuitive interaction sparked strong interest
Seamless experience – music and product details activated automatically
Effortless testing – customers could switch headphones with ease
Innovative presentation – showcased Shure’s technology in an attractive way
