It can even automatically control advertising, e.g. for items that need to be sold out or for umbrellas in case it rains.

The Smart Shelf detects when products are taken out (or put in) and thus ensures a constant and item-specific stock overview. If desired, we can combine these inventory changes in real time with our customer analytics solution, so that you know which customer profile has taken out which items and when, or even how long the person was standing in front of the shelf before the items were taken out.

From here, it is then a logical last step to Smart Go, the linking of the article removal with the app or biometric data that identifies the customer and thus enables checkout-less shopping.
